Ürgüp Belediye Başkanı Mehmet Aktürk, Nevşehir Gazeteciler Cemiyeti ve Kapadokya Gazeteciler Cemiyeti’ni ziyaret ederek bölgemizde görev yapan basın mensuplarının 24 Temmuz basın bayramlarını tebrik etti.

İlk ziyaretini Nevşehir Medya Evi’ne gerçekleştiren Aktürk, Nevşehir Gazeteciler Cemiyeti (NGC) Başkanı ve Türkiye Gazeteciler Federasyonu (TGF) Genel Sekreteri Bayram Ekici ve NGC Yönetim Kurulu Üyeleriyle görüştü. Siyasetçilerle gazetecilerin ayrılmaz bir parça olduğunu söyleyen Aktürk, yapılan hizmetlerin basın aracılığı ile kamuoyuna duyurulduğunu belirtti.

Ziyarette NGC yönetim kurulu üyeleri Oğuz Özdem, Selma Küçükgül, Osman Aytekin ile de görüşerek bayramlarını tebrik eden Aktürk, Nevşehir basınının çok güzel ve başarılı işler yaptığını kaydederek, Ürgüp’e yapılan hizmetlere de destek verdikleri için gazetecilere teşekkür etti.

Ardından Kapadokya Gazeteciler Cemiyetini ziyaret eden Başkan Aktürk, ziyarette; Kapadokya Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Osman Koca ve gazetecilerle görüşerek bayramlarını kutlayıp, yerel basının kendisinde ayrı bir yerinin olduğunu söyledi.

Nevşehir’de faaliyet gösteren iki meslek kuruluşu vasıtasıyla bölgede görev yapan tüm gazetecilerin, 24 Temmuz Gazeteciler ve Basın bayramını kutladığını ifade eden Başkan Aktürk, geçtiğimiz günlerde Ürgüp’te düzenlenen balon festivaline bölgede görev yapan basın mensuplarının katkılarından dolayı da teşekkür etti.
